KKickFocus
Private beta

Install KickFocus on Chrome.

The extension is in private beta. Request access and we will send the zip plus a short setup guide — no Chrome Web Store listing yet.

The extension is in private beta. We add a few creators at a time.

Four steps, about two minutes.

Once it is loaded, open any Kickstarter project page — live or finished — and the panel appears above the campaign tabs.

01

Request access

Leave your email. We send the zip and a one-page setup guide when a slot opens.

02

Unzip it somewhere permanent

Chrome loads the extension from that folder, so do not delete it afterwards.

03

Load it in Chrome

Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose “Load unpacked”, select the folder.

04

Open any project page

The KickFocus panel appears above the campaign tabs. Sign in with the same account.

What it asks for, and why.

Four permissions. If a fifth appears in a future version, we will say so here first.

✓

storage

Keeps your settings, language, currency and watchlist. Nothing leaves the browser.

✓

downloads

Saves images and videos from the assets tab to your computer. Only when you click download.

✓

offscreen

Runs local OCR on page images. The text is recognised on your machine, not on our servers.

✓

kickstarter.com · i.kickstarter.com

Reads the project page and the comment thread with your own session. No <all_urls>, no other sites.

First run.

Sign in with the same account you use here, so watchlists and analysis history sync. AI features stay off until you allow them; nothing is sent before you run an analysis.

Open your workspace →

  • Sign in — same email and password as the website.
  • Allow AI analysis when you want the comment and product analyses.
  • Set the interface language and display currency in Settings.
  • Open any project page; the panel reads it with your own session.

Ready when a slot opens.

The beta is small on purpose. We add creators a few at a time so every install gets a real answer when something breaks.
