Kickstarter pages are written to persuade. That is the job. But when you are deciding whether to back something, or whether to build something similar, you need the version that is not trying to sell you anything.
KickFocus reads the public project page and the public campaign numbers, then says the things a careful reader would say: the reward ladder has a hole in it, the spec sheet is missing, the shipping answer only covers two regions. It does not score projects and it does not pretend to predict them.
The comment side is separate on purpose. Comments can only be read reliably from a real Kickstarter session, so that analysis runs inside the browser extension, on your machine, using your login. We would rather ship a smaller feature than quietly build a scraper of other people’s conversations.
